- Day 1: We are in Paris ! See our first pictures
- Day 2: We are still in the most beautiful city in th world ! See our new pictures
- Day 3: Gothic wonders of the île de la cité in Paris: Notre Dame and the Sainte Chapelle
- Days 4-5: We left Paris for Neulette in the northern countryside, where we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
- Day 6: One day of rest in Neulette... At last... Wake up at 1 PM for everybody !
- Day 7: for the first time, we venture outside France, to discover the magical city of Bruges, in Belgium.
- Days 8-9-10: a 3-day trip through Normandy and Brittany: Caen, Mont Saint-Michel, Saint-Malo and Chartres
- Day 11: New Year's Eve at Chateau de Versailles
- Day 12: New Year's Day in Paris, everything is closed... So we stay home, looking at family photo albums, and resting in preparation for our trip in eastern France. Tomorrow, we leave for Nancy and Strasbourg !
- Days 13-14-15: 3 nights and 2 days in Alsace at the Schaff's.
- Day 16: a short stop at Reims on the way back.
- Day 17: Another day of rest in Paris.
- Days 18-19-20-21-22: We flew to the magnificent Venice, in Italy.
- Day 23: the soldes ( the after-Christmas sales ) in Paris
- Day 24: with Constance, at the top of Eiffel Tower
- Day 25: a visit to the Sacre Coeur in Montmartre.
- Day 26-27: excursion to Chateaux de la Loire, Chambord, Chenonceau, and several others castle from the Renaissance.
- Day 28: Back to Paris to visit the Louvre, the biggest musuem in the world !
- Day 29: Another very famous museum: the Musée d'Orsay, with its exceptionnal collection of impressionist paintings. No pictures...
- Day 30: Stephanie leaves, but without Alain, still waiting for his visa :-( Au revoir at Charles de Gaules Airport.

Stephanie is back in California, but it is not over for Alain :-(
It's raining almost every day, and nobody else is in vacation at this time of the year...
So, let's see if the weather is better in Madrid !
and the following week-end, another Europeen capital: Londres.
February 5th: Mum's 50th birthday, with the whole family !
Feb 17th: I decided to go back to work after 2 months of vacation... I will work at Business Objects Paris until I finally get my visa ! Unfortunately, I have to shave !!!
Beginning of March: a 2 week business trip to California, including a great week-end in Tahoe. Back with Stephanie after 6 weeks apart...
April 4th: Back in France ( again ! ) for Pierre-Louis' sevententh birthday... And Stephanie is in Portland for Susanna's baby shower !
April 14th: I am back in California with a brand new visa, just in time to celebrate Easter !
