After a long flight (with our friends Florence and Frédéric), we arrived in Paris to meet Alain's family! Delphine, Alain's sister, and his mother, Solange, met us the airport to welcome us to France.

Despite our exhausted state, we ventured that night to the Parc des Princes for a non-American football game - Paris Saint-Germain vs. Troyes (a small town in the countryside). The stadium was packed with crazy fans, fireworks, chanting and cheering, flags flying wildly, and PSG scarves abound. Quite a bit more lively than a 49er or Sharks game, we can assure you !
